Hyperphone. This is most likely the Mi11T Pro that was launched globally. Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 11i series on 6th January in India. Both the phones in this series are rebranded versions of Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus launched in China. At the end of the launch event, the company teased another device with the title “The Hyperphone”.
Manu Kumar Jain, Managing Director of India, during his speech at the launch event, unveiled that Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge was just “part one of the Hypercharge revolution” He also confirmed that the company will launch a new smartphone in India in near future.
At the end of the event, the company displayed a teaser poster with the tagline “THE HYPERPHONE Coming Soon” which means that launch is right around the corner.
Other than the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus, or the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge, only a few devices with 120W fast charging technology has been launched by the company. These devices are Mi 10 Ultra, Mi MIX 4, Xiaomi 11T Pro and Xiaomi 12 Pro. Mi 10 Ultra and Mi MIX 4 have no chances of India launch. We are saying this because Mi MIX 4 was kept exclusive for China and Mi 10 Ultra became 1 and half years old which was launched back in 2020 in China and global markets.
The so-called “Hyperphone” is most likely the Xiaomi 11T Pro because if the smartphone was Xiaomi 12 Pro, then the company would have teased the smartphone as a premium flagship rather than laying emphasis only on its fast charging technology. Last month the Xiaomi 11T Pro was listed on the BIS website, which shows that the Indian launch is right around the corner.
The Hyperphone: Expected Specifications
Xiaomi 11T Pro features a 6.67 inches FHD+ 10-Bit AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC based on 5nm fabrication process. The device is packed with a massive 5000mAh battery with a whopping 120W fast charging support. The handset is equipped with a triple camera setup in the rear with 108MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide and the legendary 2MP macro lens and also a 6MP front camera.
It also comes with stereo speakers with Harman Kardon Audio.
Globally, the phone was available upto 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM variants. It is most likely that Xiaomi will also launch the vanilla Xiaomi 11T along with Pro variant.
Many leaks in past have confirmed the same. The Xiaomi 11T might be launched in two memory variants, while the 11T Pro might be available in three memory options. We can expect the pricing of these phones to be around 40,000 rupees in India.
