Both the Mi 10T and the Mi 10T Pro (5G) were launched in late 2020. The Mi 10T had a 144 Hz IPS LCD screen with 1080P Resolution, premium materials for the build, the Snapdragon 865 chipset, triple camera setup with a 64 MP Main Sensor, had the capability to shoot 8K at 30FPS. It had a 5000 MAH battery with 33W Fast Charging and Stereo Speakers. All these excellent specifications for only 32,000 INR, it was serious value for money.
The Mi 10T Pro 5G had a considerable upgrade in the camera department with a 108 MP Sensor, and the rest of the specifications were similar to the Mi 10T. The Mi 10T Pro 5G was priced in India 36,999. Not going to lie, these smartphone are serious value for money and are considerable phones even in Mid 2021.
Both these smartphones shipped with Android 10 out of the box.
It is good to see that the MIUI 12.5 June update with the latest June security patch has started rolling out on these two devices. The Mi 10 Pro was not launched in India, so we are not covering that device here. Since both the Mi 10T Pro and Mi 10T run on a common build of MIUI, the duo of smartphones gets updates together.
Countrywide, this update has started rolling out as “Stable Beta”.
So, it is right now available only to a few users, but wider rollout will obviously begin very soon. Earlier this year, both these smartphones were updated to Android with MIUI 12. These two smartphones are also eligible for the MIUI 13 update, for sure.

This looks like a whole slew of new features, changes and quality of life improvements that are coming with MIUI 12.5. A lot of customization as well.
Of course, with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11, you get the whole slew of features that come with the eleventh version of Android.
To ensure a bug and hassle free experience, Xiaomi is rolling out this update in stages, so a wider update rollout will happen surely in the next few days, for all variants, Global, Indian, European, etc.
