New June MIUI OTA Update for Poco X2! Could this fix the infamous camera issue?

The POCO X2 gets a new software update in June aimed towards slight UI Changes, security and stability. Could it fix the ongoing camera issue? Read to find out more......

The Poco X2 was launched back in Feb 2020 and upon launch, it created a ripple in the Indian smartphone market centered around the 15,000 price point. For that cost, it came with barely any cost cuttings, it had a HDR 10+ 120Hz 1080P IPS LCD Screen with impressive viewing angles, Gorilla Glass 5 on the back and front, a 64 MP Main Camera, a 20 MP Front Camera, a 4500 MAH Typical All Day Battery with 27 W Fast Charging and a whole lot of impressive features for that competitive price point.

It is good to see that POCO has started rolling out the June 2021 Update for the POCO X2, aimed at the following:

  1. Minor UI Changes in Gallery
  2. UI Changes in Cleaner and Camera app

This update, according to Poco is aimed at slight UI Changes and stability and it is also a security patch. This is a 2.7 GB Update, by the way.

To ensure a bug and hassle free experience, Xiaomi is rolling out this update in stages, so a wider update rollout will happen surely in the next few days.

Of course, if you want to manually update your device, you can do that in your settings app. Tap on “about phone”. Look for “Check for updates” after tapping on the MIUI Logo.
