Poco X3 GT: Another useful intuitive rebranded smartphone!

Poco X3 GT is yet another rebranded smartphone from Xiaomi, this time a rebrand of the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G. What is the point of this? Is the phone good? Read.

Poco X3 GT: It has been reported by many tech journalists that a new smartphone from Poco will launch very soon in India & Malaysia on July 28th. But it is safe to call it an unnecessary rebranded smartphone, relaunched at the same price, but with a different name.

Why? We don’t get the point of more rebranded smartphones. This does not help customers at all, all it does is create confusion among purchases. There is no use of launching smartphones with identical specs and pricing under a different name, and there is no use of launching smartphones with one or two specs different either. Many brands are guilty of doing this, not just Xiaomi but Apple, Samsung and many others. This is a sad trend.

On July 28th, this smartphone will be launched after a live stream event. A rebranded Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G is what we’re hearing.

Poco X3 GT: Identical Specs, different name.

The specifications include a 6.6 Inch FHD+ LCD Display with 120Hz Refresh Rate and 240Hz Touch Sampling Rate with 1100 Nits of Brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus. LPDDR4 RAM and Dimensity 1100 Chipset with UFS 3.1 internal storage.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G has a 5000 MAH Battery with 67W Fast Charging Support but it might be toned down to 33W on this rebranded smartphone.

Now we have a 64 MP Main Camera with an 8MP Ultrawide and a very useful and excellent 2MP Macro Camera. A side mounted fingerprint sensor and a 16MP Front Camera make up the rest of the specs.

The pricing is said to be around 19,000 Rupees for this smartphone and this is not confirmed yet. We can expect anything between 18 and 20 thousand which is decent pricing for the specs.

Number of supported 5G Bands is unknown and it will vary by region, we hope the Indian variant will not come with just one or two bands of 5G.

Previously, the Redmi Note 10T 5G was announced which had one hundred percent identical specs to the Poco M3 Pro 5G. Pointless rebranding. Then the Poco F3 GT is just a rebranded version of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition.

Hope the pointless rebranding subsides and companies start launching innovative smartphones once more in the mid range segment. With that being said, let us know your opinion on rebranding and this new Poco X3 GT. Do drop a comment down below.
