Redmi 9A grabs new OTA software update in India

Xiaomi has started rolling out a new OTA software update to the device in India. The latest update comes under May 2021 security patch with bug fixation and improvements.

Redmi 9A is a entry level smartphone coming from the house of Xiaomi. It comes with features like 6.53-inches HD+ waterdrop notch panel, MediaTek Helio G25 chipset, 13-megapixels single rear camera, 5-megapixels front facing camera, and 5000mAh battery at last. The company has now started rolling out a new OTA software update to Redmi 9A in India.

The latest update brings the May 2021 security patch to the device and some changes in Xiaomi cloud. However, this is not a MIUI 12.5 or Android 11 update. It’s based on MIUI 12 and Android 10. Here’s complete changelog of the update for your information.
