After being noticed on BIS, the introduction of the Redmi Note 11 4G worldwide model appears to be close. A 50MP main camera is rumoured to be included in the smartphone. The Snapdragon 680 SoC is expected to power this gadget. The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunication Commission both validated the Redmi Note 11 global model (NBTC). This gadget was also listed in the V-5 Camera app listing, which provided us with the validated camera characteristics.
Redmi Note 11 4G Listed on BIS and NTBC
Redmi Note 11 4G is rumoured to have Snapdragon 680 SoC, which is different from the Chinese variant of Redmi Note 11 which came with a MediaTek SoC.
MySmartPrice reported that the device has been certified by the BIS website with a model number “2201117TI”. MySmartPrice also reported that the smartphone has appeared on the NBTC website with the model number “2201117TG”. This shows that Redmi Note 11 Indian and global launch is right around the corner.
This phone was also spotted on the V-5 camera app. According to that listing, it will have a 50MP main camera on the rear with an f/2.0 lens and Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS) support. The Chinese Redmi Note 11 also came with a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro.
Xiaomi has not made any announcement about the global launch of the Redmi Note 11 4G. The handset has already appeared on Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and the Eurasian Economic Commission websites some days before. Now the global launch of Redmi Note 11 4G looks imminent. It will be interesting to see how aggressively Xiaomi keeps the price of this phone.
