Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Xiaomi 12 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.6 inches 2K AMOLED Display. The device is rumoured to be launched in the month of February. This smartphone is rumoured to be equipped with Leica cameras.
Xiaomi 12 series was launched in China in December 2021. This series consists of 3 devices – the vanilla Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro. But Xiaomi 12 Ultra was not launched with these smartphones. Few reports claimed that the device is not far away from global launch after its few specifications were allegedly leaked.
Here’s What Digital Chat Station Has Stated About Xiaomi 12 Ultra
The design of the rear camera cut-out of Xiaomi 12 Ultra has been leaked recently on Weibo by renowned Leakster Digital Chat Station. Designs indicate that this handset will have a huge camera module.
Digital Chat Station suggested that the camera module will be so large that it will spread across the width of the smartphone. The camera module is expected to be in a rectangular shape while all cameras will be placed in a centrally aligned circular interior part. Digital Chat Station also said that the upcoming Vivo flagship will also have a very similar camera cut-out which might have a left-aligned circular-shaped camera island.
Few reports in the past claimed that Xiaomi 12 Ultra will feature a quad-camera setup with a 5x Periscope telephoto lens. This lens may have the highest optical zoom ever on a smartphone. In addition to these, this handset is rumoured to feature Leica cameras. The device is expected to feature a curved display with a selfie camera embedded in the centre punch hole cut-out. The smartphone is also expected to feature Surge chips, the same as the Xiaomi 12 series devices, which are designed to enhance the image quality of the cameras.
