This is a follow up post to the post we did a few days ago about the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, when a lot of sites and leakers reported that it will be released in Q3 or Q4 2021 with MIUI 13 out of the box. You can read that post here:

Sites like Weibo and Giz China are now reporting that the Mi Mix 4 will be slightly more expensive compared to the Mi 11 Ultra, but there are good reasons for a slight price jump.
According to MyDrivers, the main reason for a price jump on this smartphone is the highlight feature: The Display. The R & D Team has finally (reportedly) managed to eliminate a large chin on the bottom, making all the bezels very uniform and minimal and it has also managed to include a front camera under the display, giving you a proper full screen experience with negligible side bezels.
We can however, ignore the fact that it will be a 1080P display and not a 2K Display (1440P) because of the camera under the display, also the FHD+ display supports 120Hz so it is not really a problem, because there is barely any difference you can tell between 1080P and 1440P on a smartphone screen.
The phone is also expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 888 (not the 888+ or 895) because it will be released before the launch of the newer chips. It is also said to have a 4500 MAH Battery and 120 W Super Fast Charging Support and it will ship out of the box with MIUI 13.
The fact that it will be pricier than the Mi 11 Ultra should not come as a surprise considering all these new features.
Coming to expected pricing, we can say 1100$+ (80,000 Rupees=) when roughly converted form Chinese Currency, which is more than the Mi 11 Ultra.
- Snapdragon 888 Chip
- Very fast charging (120 W) and a 4500 MAH Battery
- 100% Full Screen, Bezel Free, Uninterrupted Display
- 120 HZ AMOLED
- MIUI 13
- Possibly Priced 1000$ +
- More Expensive than the Mi 11 Ultra
There is still not much info about the camera megapixels.
MIUI 13 should considerably improve software experience.
To conclude, we think the Mi MIX 4 will be a very competitive flagship smartphone and it will sell really well if they manage to do the in display front camera while retaining the quality of the camera. With that being said, let us know what you think of this updated pricing news. Also, we will cover the entire Xiaomi event that is supposed to take place on 22nd June, right here on Xiaomi Central. If there is any more news regarding the Mi MIX 4, we will update it here.
