
Xiaomi has launched their Redmi Note 9 Pro smartphone in India back in 2020 featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset, 6.67-inches FHD+ IPS LCD Display with centre-punch hole cutout, 48-megapixels quad rear camera, 16-megapixels front camera and 5000mAh battery. The device was launched running Android 10. Xiaomi has already pushed the Android 11 update to the device and now they have started rolling out a new May security patch update to the device.

The latest update brings the May 2021 security patch to the device and some changes in Xiaomi cloud. The updates is based on MIUI 12 on top of Android 11 and note that this is not MIUI 12.5 update. The update comes under the firmware version MIUI V12.0.5.0RJWINXM. Here’s complete changelog of the update.
